Yo, Ryan. Absolutely love your body of work. Much to be admired. I read through the entire archives and then reread. I even picked my fav’s and forwarded them on to friends and associates. (I have writers block right – read: unmotivated, laziness – right now and have some time on my hands) So you can expect a slew of additional fans.
Just a quick, objective observation:
Almost all my favorites were from the beginning of your amazing creative adventure. Although the panel illustrations have evolved, the progression took some of the raw delivery you masterfully displayed and never quite recaptured. For me, the shift occurred around “the Craziest”.
I think it has been solid throughout, and don’t mean to infer it is all shit after this point. Quite the contrary, as I have laughed out loud to some the recent entries as well. You set the bar extremely high, right out of the gate, and it would have been impossible to sustain that level of consistent hilarity.
Anyway, I am glad I stumbled upon your site and look can’t wait to see where you go to next.
Wow, way to be a jerk about it. The path to understanding this strip may not be a logical leap, but it’s not stupidly obvious either. It is not if/then or cause/effect because the two are not directly linked (the redvine and the farting situations). While it’s possible it would be understood by a third grader, I’m pretty sure the basics of logic are not learned in every elementary school. No need to be harsh and insulting.
Note to self Dont buy her red-vines for her birthday

But on the other hand, he gets an erection every time he farts.

pooping while eating redvines made her hate redvines
farting while have sex will make her hate sex.
it’s an if/then situation. Cause and effect, action/reaction.
it’s also called something you learn in 3rd grade.
